Alesis Ipad dock problem? [Update to iOS5.1 to fix]

Sometimes when I plug my guitar into the input jack of the Alesis IO Dock I get feedback and other times I get crackling? If I adjust the Ipad or remove it and reset it into the dock it fixes the problem? Anyone else having this problem? I've only had it for a couple of weeks, so I'm wondering if it is a problem with the unit.

ok, so I'm not the only one...... few! I just want to know because I'm still in the time where I can exchange the IO Dock for a new one.

I also get it changing amps and when I'm using the microphone in garage band to record real bass or use my POD xt to record guitar. I'll listen back and there's the crackling on the track that I didn't notice while recording.

I also get this (iPad 2, iOS 5, IO dock firmware 1.5, no other app running in background)
But this is not limited to garageband. I tried several recording apps (Garageband, Audiomemos, Tynivox pro - so far)
The first recording is clear sounding, the second one is crackling on playback...
Then I have to restart io dock (power button) - and it works again for one recording...
Strange behaviour. Also I do have big problems with SampleTank for iOS. It gives me distorted sound (like latency hum) when playing through the io dock (not when playing through headphones)
Please do fix these audio problems. Maybe its iOS 5 related?
