Hi
Can you change which midi note each pad sends on the performance pad? For example make the top pad send a C1 etc. Can you also change which note the kick and hi-hat sends?

The pads default trigger notes values are 48, 45, 49, 51, 36, 38, 42, and 46 (from left to right, top to bottom.)
Also known as: C4, A3, C#4, D#4, C3, A2, F#3, and A#3.
You will not be able to change this through user preferences, so MIDI mapping will need to be done, if available. Most higher end drum VI's have this feature. Or if the VI has the option to set the note the Virtual module responds to, that would help you work around it.

How can we change midi number from each pad that gets sent out to a different midi device?

Hi,
I read page 36 of the manual and it just says that it is possible to turn midi note send on and off, it doesn't say anything about changing the actual midi note that is sent (for example from c1 to c2). This would be pretty important for layering drums in a DAW like ableton, for example.
Is it possible to change the midi note that is sent from each pad? -

My first comment was off on this thread, I may have been referencing the Pro (sorry for that).
