I’m very worried!!!

DM6 USB Kit doesn't save my User Kits after turned off and switch on again and the factory reset doesn't work

I start playing woth my DM6 USB Kit and everything is great, I choose any of my User Kits (0.11 - 0.12 - 0.13 - 0.14 - 0.15), choose the voices and volumes of each pad, save my User Kit and no problem, but when I stop playing, turn OFF and then back in 3 minutes to play, the User Kits are gone, like if I've never set them when I switch ON to the module.

And the other problem is that the Factory Reset can't be made and I don't know why! Somebody knows how can be fixed these problems?

  • Hello,

Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having issues with your DM6 kit.

Make sure that you are saving your kits after making the desired changes, as your changes/kits will not save automatically. You can save a kit to any of the five user kits by following these steps below:

    1) Press Save to enter Kit Save Mode. The LCD will display the current kit number and the Kit Indicator will light up.
    2) Use Value +/- to select a User Kit (11-15). User Kit numbers will flash on the LCD.
    3) Press Save to save the Kit to that User Kit number. This includes all trigger voices and volumes.

    I hope this helps!

  • Thank you for your answer. In fact, I followed that same steps, but doesn't work. What can I do to fix this if the Factory Reset doesn't work either. Thanks a lot!!!

  • Alright, if that's the case, it sounds like you may need to service your module.

Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Alesis Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu.

    or

    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.

Make sure to reference or link this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
