How do I change midi channel send?

Hello,

I am the new owner of a Vortex, I want to simply be able to change the midi channel that the Vortex sends to my sound source in live situations. I currently have my Fantom G as a master keyboard set to play a different sound on each midi channel. It is a simple matter for me to then change the midi send channel on my secondary keyboards to trigger whatever sound i wish on the Fantom G.

I understand that I can save patches on the Vortex and assign the midi channel as one of the many parameters. Unfortunately, the vortex also sends some msb, lsb data which changes the preset on the Fantom G. I do not want to send msb, lsb and pc as part of the patch, as this modifies the setups on my fantom G. I just want to change the midi channel.

How do I save the patch so it only send midi data on a specified channel, and no other info or changes to my sound source?

As further info to clarify, right now I have the Fantom G set up as midi ch1=grand piano, ch2=hammond b3 ch3=rhodes etc. With my other controllers I merely change the global midi channel, and it very simply triggers the sound on that channel on my Fantom G. So if I select channel 3 on my controller, the rhodes sound is triggered. How can I achieve this using my vortex as the controller?
