Sample Pad file format
What file format does a sound file have to be in to be used on the new SamplePad? Can I just put a bunch of mpgs on the disk and load it from there?

You should be able to with freeware like 'audacity'.

Excellent. Make sure to keep the samples tight and use "fade in" and "fade out" to avoid popping when the sample gets triggered.
