SamplePad - sd card samples won't play

Edit Subject

4Gb SD card formatted to FAT32 & all mono .wav files named accordingly in the root directory, I've tried both 16 & 8 bit also 48, 44.1 & 11.205 kHz but all I get is a click (& reverb). Internal sounds work fine, also the file names come up ok with no error message.

Also they are tiny, like 70kB.
